Nice little place to go for a walk. It's muddy though so take boots. Car park is FREE on a Sunday, the amount of fools paying without reading the sign was unreal.car park is very busy so get there early. Dog walkers need to clean up after themselves and there's a severe lack of bins available. Apart from that it's a nice walk out
This is really a wonderful area to walk, several routes to choose which should suit everyone. The only drawback, and it has nothing to do with the place, is the amount of dog sh#&e either on the paths or left bagged in trees, why do you people do this, if there isn't a bin then carry the bag until you find one.
Lovely place for a walk. Good for dogs, kids, practically everyone. Be sure to take some food along for the birds.
Exalent place for an easy relaxing walk great for families with good paths round the dam.The surrounding woodland is well maintained with trees cut back and felled safe place for kids to explore. Lots of wild life on and off the water.
A pleasant walk around the lake, there is a wooded area with interesting carvings scattered throughout to discover. Plenty of wildlife to be seen. There is occasional seating here and this makes this place ideal for a picnic. There is a couple of quality pubs close by which serve food. The car park is spacious but is not free.
