Only there to protect the police and NOT the victims of crime.I have been complaining to West Yorkshire Police for 12 years and all they have done is protect the perpetrator of the crimes against me. It has cost the public 100s of thousands of pounds if not millions to cover up their mistakes and they are still at it. MBW did nothing when he was with the Police Authority or as PCC. He did hear me on Radio Leeds and commented but did nothing about it. He should resign in shame and return all the puplic money he has been paid.
Always answered my emails and passed me on to the local police and listened to me instead of yeah yeah, like the police did originally. I rate him

Many neighbours in the community resorting to self policing as petty crime soars. Close friends have been victims and had to find the thieves themselves to recover not only their own possessions but tens of thousands of pounds worth of other peoples stuff too. Easy bust for the police right?, apparently not, thieves walk free to continue stealing from us.We need much tougher punishment for thieves. Including naming and shaming. Loss of personal possessions, community service, frozen bank accounts, trading accounts etc etc etc. Slaps on the wrists is clearly not enough!AlsoJust read a review in here about police being too aggressive. Good, we want our police to be aggressive, people need to have respect for the law and our officers. Sick and tired of seeing police being abused by the public. Need tougher rules for this too.Our police are becoming an embarrassment. Too scared to act for risk of receiving complaints. Pandering to ethnic communities out of fear of being branded racist. Unable to deal with out of control youth who torment and mock officers for entertainment. When does it end?Pathetic!
