I Use This Post Office A Lot From Banking To Buying Greetings Cards And posting Letters & Parcels And I Also Use The Passport Photo Booth For My Disabled Badge Application Form Renewal, The Staff Are Friendly & Very Helpful,Karen The Post Mistress Is The Best This Post Office Has Ever Had Since I Have Been Coming Here Which Is Over 34yrs Or So And She Has Made This Post Office As Good As A Mainstream High Street Post Office Also In This Post Office There's A Sweets Emporium Which Sells Jars Of Wrapped & Loose Sweets As Well In The Summer Months They Also Sell Ice Cream Cornet's, Horbury Is Very Lucky To Have A Post Office While Other Small Town's & Villages Have To Do With Post Offices In Local Convenience Stores Or The Nearest Town Which Could Be Miles Away By Car Or Infrequent Bus Service .

Since moving to Horbury two years ago I have used the post office on many occasions not just for posting parcels (or ice cream for the grandkids) but for general banking, savings, personal finance and holiday insurance. I have always found the staff more than helpful, polite & efficient. This local post office has the personal friendly touch and I can't recommend it highly enough.

We now close on Saturdays at 4.30.

I've had to use this post office quite a few times now as its local. However each time I have found the staff slow and miserable in nature, actually quite unhelpful and bordering on being rude. . So much so that I now drive to Ossett where the staff are much more professional polite and efficient.
