Had to wait a little while for my order, so probably not the best for a quick lunch, but oh my, the burger and rough cut chips I had was so good it would actually make me visit Wakefield again just to come here ! The staff were great and the guy who served us was good and apologized I wasn't told the burger might take a little while as it was so thick. Definitely a first having a black burger bun and charcoal mayo, but I love trying new food. Burger was super juicy and tasty. I could have eaten the chips all day. I think the price is really really reasonable here, compared to Leeds of London where I normally end up eating out. Highly recommended.

We Came in this evening, we ordered an American platter for 2, Mac and cheese and chips. The girls serving were very pleasant and brought us a drink whilst we waited for our meal, hence the 1 star.The food arrived after a while, the American platter was cold, 4 king prawns, small rack of ribs, 2 chicken wings and burnt nachos. But it was all cold to touch. The Mac and cheese tasted of flour and it was only the serving dish that was hot. A bowl of chips that were actually hot but only got a quarter of a bowl.We left shortly after complaining, however payment was taken from me for the wine I had. Everything looked microwaved but obviously not microwaved long enough. I personally won't pay those prices for microwaved foods served cold.Wont be returning
Nicely decorated and with great food. It's a little on the expensive side, but you do generally get what you pay for. Would have given five stars, but the staff, whilst attentive and efficient, can be a little monotone and almost miserable at times. Don't let that put you off though. I have eaten here four times now and it's always been delicious.
