If your looking for somewhere just out of the cities but feels like the middle of nowhere (except the bus route next to it, that stops at 11) this site is certainly a brilliant option! Lovely family that runs it too!!
What a beautiful place to rest and recuperate. The area is so quiet and the owners so friendly. We love this campsite.
The three star review is simply not true. The poster says "Dirty and neglected" What absolute rubbish. The place is spotlessly clean and the owner has, in her own garden,and on site an amazing display of perennial plants. I could not believe the comments. This is a lovely farm site. Great value at 15 for a tent, spotlessly clean facilities, two real ale pubs within 15 minutes walk and a very good Indian restaurant about 2 miles away that delivers to the site free of charge. We just spent our third weekend in the sun there, no noisy groups, and a marvellous chorus of birds in the nearby woods. I just don't understand that review, it is fiction; AND we were there on the same night! Amazed. During the week I will post photos of the facilities and gardens as proof, unless the poster removes the review.
Such a friendly sight in a good location. Facilities are good and kept very clean. The owners are superb. Nothing is to much trouble. Strongly recommend it.
Owner is lovely, small campsite holds ten units, peaceful and out the way but not to far from anything, walkers would love this place to camp.Toilet block very clean shower available 50p for three minutes.Dogs welcome no charge just make sure there on a leadWe stayed for a weekend, would definitely stay at this park again.Cash only
