I would give 0 stars, but 1 is the minimum, unfortunately.My dad and I booked a saloon sized car to make a road trip to southern Spain and on the morning of leaving we get a phone call to say they haven't got the car we booked and we're struggling to find even one to give us!! They ended up finding us some horrendous Peugeot SUV which was utterly terrible! Not to mention how inefficient it was causing us to spend a good bit of money to fill the thing.But because they found us a car, in their eyes that's all that matters.Dreadful behaviour!!! Never would I use Europcar again and would advise others to avoid.
Need to change management at this depot, bad experience, not professional and do not bother about customers.The receptionist is an absolutely great person and only who cares about customers and tries help - 5*.

Terrible. Hire car handed over to my parents in the most disgusting condition imaginable. We complained and provided photos as evidence and received no partial refund, even though Europcar T&Cs state a cleaning charge is included in the basic hire fee. A lady at the desk at the Wakefield branch received the complaint on email, and promised to call me about it within a day after speaking to her manager - she never rang.Update to reply to their response below: The main driver has already emailed that address. The complaint was emailed to that address along with the Wakefield branch three weeks ago. They have received no response whatsoever.
Top notch service. Always busy. Please be aware in order to get a car rental book 2 days in advance as they are rushed constantly. I came to collect a car and nothing was available but Sue took 15 minutes to arrange one for me. Hats off to Louise who amended my booking so I only pay for when I used it. Seriously the Wakefield branch is amazing. Its simple. Book online, pay deposit, collect car with full tank and return it with full tank.
