Excellent - I got in very quickly because they offered me a cancellation, I was well looked after and the procedure explained when I attended, The dentist who completed my treatment was the lady with the irish accent and I can honestly say I have never had a better dentist, petrified of them I am but I felt at ease and the treatment was spot on - Thankyou

The practice is fine, getting an appointment over the phone however is ridiculous! Be prepared to stay on the phone for a very long time...

I attended the practice for emergency treatment in regards to my gums. Before I go into the review, the dentist and nurse I saw were extremely lovely and exceptionally professional. This negative review is not a reflection of their work. After receiving my treatment I went to the reception desk to pay my bill, as anyone who goes to the dentist knows, dental isn't free on the NHS. However, I was told that there was nothing to pay and surprised I asked for assurance whether this was the case, which I was given. So I left not thinking much about it. That was until a few months later when I received a letter stating that I would be referred to Debt Collection services for non-payment of the visit. This came rather as a shock as it would to anyone. I rang the surgery to investigate where the mistake had been made on my part or theirs. To explain, I work and live between Wakefield and London, so my mail can be sporadic to say the least. I spoke to the Practice Manager who is also a company director and was told I had been sent letters and texts previous, I hadn't received either and asked for proof. Which I have never received. The call escalated to become exceptionally aggressive where I was made out to be the liar. So, I asked to speak to the owner and asked for further, paper evidence of their claims they made which they said they would send, but never came. A week later, the owner and other director rang me. Instead of speaking and discussing the matter calmly in order to deal with it, I was met with aggression immediately, told I was disgraceful, wasn't allowed to speak and eventually hung up on. Now the amount was not astronomical, it was in the tens of pounds, but before paying a bill I was not aware of I would have liked an explanation. Whilst I can't fault the medical treatment I received and would in fact applaud it, the treatment shown by company directors was in every sense of the word bullying. This is not acceptable customer service in any industry, but especially disgraceful when it is under the banner of public service. They failed to inform the cost of treatment and failed to take payment at the first point of sale where I offered to settle any bill there was. Then to receive a threatening letter was alarming. Instead of dealing with the matter calmly, maturely and in a professional manner, the directors of this company who should lead by example were anything but and the behaviour was alarming of people of this level. Therefore, to anyone looking at this and debating attending this clinic, I would strongly advise against it as the customer service outside of the dental surgeries is, to be frank, disgusting and shameful and by far the worst I have ever received period. The customer is not always right, but bullying and aggression is never acceptable. So, my advice would be to stay away from this practice. It is also suspicious to me that they have no website or social links. Maybe so patients cannot leave reviews.

Really scared of the dentist. I cant recomend the irish lady enough. Really gentle and reasuring.

I went today after being in so much pain, they booked me in straight away. The service was fantastic and the dentist and her assistant dental nurse were so understanding and sorted my problem out straight away! Highly recommend.
