I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed at the Mount. I wanted to leave a review of my experience as I was apprehensive after reading some negative reviews.I was extremely nervous but was made to feel at ease by the lovely dental nurse (who also held my hand) and the dentist who removed my tooth. The dentist talked me through my options and then i went through with the extraction. The dentist was very skilled (Dr Sah) and ensured me that he would make the process quick. He did and it was all over in about 15 minutes. I did cry a few times as I was terrified but I felt confident in the abilities of the dentist and Nurse. I also had some questions about the procedure beforehand and these were all answered by the staff by phoning before my appointment. I told them I was nervous and was reassured.I am very happy with my experience. It was quick and painless and I can only apologise to the staff for when I got emotional a few times. It makes me very thankful for the NHS that this sort of treatment can be accessed quickly and easily for low or no cost. Thank you The Mount!
I first had an appointment on the 6th of August which had been booked over the phone when I turned up for this appointment they tried tell me I had the wrong appointment and I was ment to be in on the 8th. Considering my birthday was the 8th I knew I wouldn't of booked out for a tooth out on my birthday so I resheduald it for today. When I arrived the dentist tried telling me it doesn't really need to be taken out as the tooth is healthy, which I already knew but id just had 3 infections which cause 2 3 days off at a time and cost for the prescription plus trying to get in at the dentist. He decided to take it out. Wow I wish I'd of took his suggestion and not got it taken out. He pushed and pulled (which I expected as I've already had a wisdom tooth out) there was cracking there crunching. I honestly felt like if I hadn't of tensed my jaw he could of broken it. Then he got the drill out was drilling away at my tooth. He was absolutely ruthless. If he'd of dealt with a child like this i wouldn't of been happy. Don't get me wrong I didn't actually feel a thing But I'm twice as sore as when my first tooth was taken out and I'll never have another one taken out. He tried to tell me it was a bad extraction as I had 4 roots but the woman who took my first one out had no trouble whatsoever as that had 4 roots too. Apart from that the staff on the front desk are approachable and friendly and was understanding when I explained this to them
Had a tooth extraction. Almost pain free injections with the extraction itself taking no time at all. Professional friendly staff.
Horrible dentist where I had a tooth extraction and the dentist was so insensitive about pain I was in when he was injecting me with the anesthetic he did not stop he carried on. Also when came to taking the tooth out he was getting frustrated that I was not moving up the seat enough and was telling a Co learner that this is how things are delayed when patient is not sitting up properly. He made e take my bun out of my scarfe which I was uncomfortable about since I wear a hijab and while I had to take it out there my hair was showingThis place is really unprofessional and uncaring never again
