Nice place for a party in their function room
Clean and comfortable place to stay. Staff are all excellent and ever helpful. Food excellent in Sloanes restaurant.
Convenient for rail station and town centre. Rooms adequate but small. Shower rooms modern but poky. I'd certainly come back here.
Yesterday was our wedding day. We decided to have our reception at the York House Hotel due to the location with is excellent due to being in the centre of Wakefield. Our function room was decorated beautifully. We had an array of choice for our menu, Layla who was our coordinator at the hotel was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and communication was excellent The food was fabulous and guests who had dietary requirements were catered for. It has wheelchair access and a lift. We stayed the hotel which was lovely, the room was decorated to a boutique standard and it was quite. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and the service excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and accommodation if you are looking for a function venue.Deborah & Jamie Brooks
