Lovely fish and chips. Batter is really tasty and you get a good sized portion of chips. Would recommend.
Sadly this place has going down hill the last few weeks. The batter on the fish seem to have changed. It was a lovely crispy brown before and now is pale brown colour. The batter under the fish resembles a soggy greasy pancake. I have been able to eat the fish after removing it. Will give one more go and hopefully I'll be able to restore the five stars. Update, NOT using this place anymore for our Thursday factory order. Now taken somewhere else. Final staw was my fish. Once I'd removed the slimy pancake it was encased in I found it was two thin grey bits that had been stacked to make one fish NOT what I'd call a special! Not fit for tiddles! If they changed the cooking fat more often you probably wouldn't get that "still tasting them six hours later experience either" shame it was good .
Go regular to blue marlin, good service, great food, happy faces to walk into..Although Colin could do with some singing lessons haha ( Sorry col if you see this .)Nice and clean place.Very happy with itWell done...
