Great easy to use station
Simple , close to downtown, some food shops and few relax places.
Wakefield Westgate is an excellent station. There are shops and cafes, a ticket office and information points. There are on platform facilities too. The access is perfect for the disabled and bikers to easily move around the station. There are two trains per hour between Leeds and London, one per hour between Birmingham and Edinburgh, one per hour between Leeds and Sheffield, one per hour between Leeds and Doncaster, and one per hour to / from Huddersfield via Wakefield Kirkgate.
Back from London met by pleasant train staff ,this recently refurbished station looks great and a pleasure to walk into unlike the old one where you constantly looking around you.
