Popped into meet a friend for coffee,very reasonably priced and nice tasting,the only thing missing was a biscuit on the side(but that's a personal preference)
Avoid the snaith beers.. not fresh beer or very mucky lines. (Either way, it's no good). Only had 1 pint and instantly felt unwell for several hours! Not for the 1st time either.. tried for 3rd time lucky as its my nearest local, so as to give them another chance, but after i recieved instant gut rot for a third time I'll just go to The Woodman from now on!
Friendly staff, ideal for a lovely family Sunday dinner. Decent price as well.
Went tonight in a large group, was impressed with the food and the service. Only 2 staff in kitchen and on the bar but could not fault anything. Food was all ready at the same time for both starters and mains.
One of the better pubs in Outwood, not that there's much competition. It looks nice in the beer garden as they've recently had it refurbished. House wine is horrible, especially the red. I tend to stick with Guinness or cider if I visit. Pool table is a pound which I personally think is overpriced in a small pub but after all I am a Yorkshire man.
