Well i have been going to this vets for over 10 years,the other week Monday the 4th Feb, i needed a vet,to see my dog i was told they couldn't see me for 2 weeks,and told to go headingley ,not very good without transport,ten years ago the vets were lovely vets(honest ones),not these little upstarts,they have now there,i took him once and some upstart told me,ho his heart murmur is getting worse,i replied"how would you know,you've never seen him"then this other little upstart agreed with her and her first question was"do you have insurance"not my dogs health,so anyway back to my appointment,i managed to get him an appointment at another vets,so after sorting and transferring his records and such,he died Tuesday morning,thank you ashfield,perhaps if could be there for the pets and not the money.
I used to work here when it was castleview and still take my pets here now it's ashfields so much has changed, staff don't even look to be enjoying there jobs and making effort with customers or animals which was a big thing when it was castleview, no consistency with vets never get to see the same one and build a relationship with them! It's such a shame to see as this practice used to be so lovely and filled with love and joy.
Sorry but this practice isn't as good as it used to be .They haven't yet set on a resident vet ,Everytime you visit it's a different locum vet who doesn't know you or your pet there ist any consistency at all . The place looks neglected other staff seem to change by the month Not impressed at all. For the fees we pay I expect better this practice went down hill when Stuart Elliot left and it changed from Castleview to the present owners Ashfield vets
had appoinment this morn, .. really friendly , staff put me at ease, the vet was excellent, .. and a georgous british bulldog puppy behind the desk
Excellent dealt with the death of my cat with great respect for both me and my poor cat
