I popped in to this bar because I really wanted a cup of tea on a Wednesday afternoon but being a town in the North of England, most of Wakefield was closed. I had a lovely brew and half a pint of porter while on my way to meet some friends at another bar. That bar was closed for redecorating so I suggested everyone come to the Jolly Tap. We had no idea there was a quiz on, had a really really lovely night.

Always a good night out at the Jolly Tap. They also serve up their own delicious beer, well worth a trip for that alone. Love the atmosphere and the staff are lovely.
A lovely pub with terrific atmosphere, awesome beer and a good hearty ramge of bar snack.
Good place for a drink and a chat. Enjoyed this evening's music as part of the Art Walk.
