The service and the food is 1st class along with the ambience. Certainly can recommend the flying pig for pork lovers not forgetting the sticky toffee pudding.
The food is what I expected to get in Spain last year, but didn't. I was lovely and very tasty. The service was great too.
We have been to Qubana in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it. However on this occasion I had booked a table for 6 people not realising it was in the bar area. We were all sat in a line which was far from ideal. The manager was excellent but he couldnt accommodate us elsewhere as it was so busy. We decided to move on to another restaurant but still highly recommend Qubana.
Another place in Wakefield where you'd think you were in Leeds. A classy venue with prices to match. But drinks wise, I feel you get what you pay for. Also keeps the usual Westgate and student crowd away. The roof terrace bar is great as well.
